// 04 · principles

four house rules

01

customer production is our first duty

Every decision passes this gate: who gets paged if this breaks?

02

if it isn't written, it didn't happen

Docs are part of engineering, not an afterthought.

03

understand before you optimize

Don't assume legacy is bad. Learn why it was built that way first.

04

ask seniors all the way down

Questions here aren't a cost — they're encouraged.
