Backups sit on the same network as production; once ransomware is in, copies are encrypted alongside originals, and only at restore time does it turn out there is no clean data left.
JDC-Vault (Qingxuanbao) is the isolated vault service inside the Storage Power Center. Air-gapped from the production network, it keeps immutable golden copies of core data: even when a ransomware attack breaks into production, it cannot reach the data held here. JDC-Vault is the service form of SupVault inside the Storage Power Center, belongs to the same family as JDC, and is delivered under the Storage Power Center contract.
Capabilities
- Air-gap isolation: the vault is physically or logically separated from production and accepts data only in controlled windows
- Immutable copies: once written, a copy cannot be changed or deleted within its retention period, not even by an administrator
- Golden copy: a trusted recovery point for core databases, model weights and critical files
- Controlled restore: taking data out of the vault requires approval and leaves a record; the restore is auditable
- Works with SupDRC: clean copies feed the failover and recovery playbooks
